Bridal Veil Falls is located about 30mi. away from Hood River, OR and flows into the beautiful Columbia River. All of my kayak buddies have run this falls and they never have anything bad to say about it, except the rebar running down the middle of the falls. There is also a man made concrete lip at the top that was all built to be able to easily carry logs down the falls. Luckily there no threat from these unless you go down the falls upside down. After helping with a class fundraiser, my brother and I packed up the gear and headed to Bridal Veil falls, hoping of good flows. After scouting the falls and setting safety my brother was the first one to run the falls. He made it safely down and I was stoked for my turn. Again I ran it cleanly and we were off to the next falls.
