About me

Hey, my name is Brendan Wells. I'm a nineteen year old kayaker from Trout Lake, Washington and currently reside in Bellingham, WA. I first stepped into a plastic kayak over six years ago and since then have progressed to be one of the leaders of my generation, pushing the sport to it’s extremes. My passion for kayaking has been inspired by the amazing people I’ve met on the water, the beautiful countries and cultures I’ve been immersed in, the adrenaline rush of free falling off of a massive waterfall, and finding remote rivers that no one on earth has had the chance to see. Naturally, my goal is to pursue this passion until I physically can’t any longer.

-Little White Salmon Race 2012- 8th Place Overall
-The North Fork Championship 2012- 9th Place Expert Division

-Record holder for largest waterfall run by junior (95+ft. Abiqua Falls)
-Green Truss extreme team race 2009 overall 1st place.

-Little White Salmon Race 2009 2nd Place Juniors.
-Gorge Games 2008- 1st in time trial for extreme race and
2nd in boater cross
-Cadet National Freestyle team and the Cadet National Wildwater team in 2008
